The new phone books arrived today
That's something new with which I'll play.
A cast of thousands, so they say
but it would make a lousy play.
There's too much info. there I fear.
They give me 2 more every year.
As a foot stool they're quite dapper
and still in their plastic wrapper.
Imagine just how many trees
were consumed producing these.
It's only one year later then
redundancy is back again.
i use them but the thing I'm hating
is when they put me on call waiting.
And I almost get deranged
when they say the numbers changed,
but my problem's solved you see
from now on they can all call me.
