"Point of view"

Whenever I am asked outright
to state my views in chat.
I think diplomatically
before I answer back.

I don't like controversy,
for that's not what I do.
There's 2 sides to every question
and both I try to view.

There are those who like to take umbrage
no matter what I say.
Therefor I like to couch replies
in an ambivalent way.

I have been through this before
and so I am not dense.
Some say my greatest exercise is
sitting on the fence.

My main aim- My claim to fame
is giving people fun.
As long as I achieve it
I believe my job is done.

I don't act belligerantely
I don't rave and shout
I believe in saying
"let's all see how it works out."
