�Christmas Day 2004�
We just had Christmas dinner.
We were running late
but I admit that I enjoyed
every thing I ate.
Instead of barbecued hot meat
In Oz that does not rate
and so we all had prawns
which were piled upon the plate.
When the tables had been cleared
it was presents giving time
with Santa handing gifts
to all the kids who stood in line.
Then unwrapping frenzy
with paper there galore
all within 5 minutes it was
deep upon the floor.
Another clean up followed
and then after that
it was time for everyone
to go and have a nap.
