POEMS BY AUSSIEJOHN "Palindromes" There's a certain type of word palindrome is it's name. Whichever way you read it, it still comes out the same. In order of the alphabet here's some you can perceive. There's Anna-Boob- and Civic Deified and also Eve. There are others come to mind like Gig and Gag and Hah, and kayak or there's Level or others more bizarre. Try Madam,Noon and Otto What of Poop and Peep? I'll now draw this to a close before you go to sleep, But I could have mentioned Rotator or Sagas there to choose or better still there's Sexes It's more interesting to use. Then there are the common words Did,Gig,Bib ,Sis and Tot. Which EwE might have overlooked when dealing with this lot. "Able was i ere i saw Elba" Who's that bring to mind? I'd discuss it but i'm not "Politically inclined".

"Takeoff" If you take "Son" from Abscond all that's left to see are letters of the alphabet " A-B-C and D "

"Denial" "Egyptian Flower" was the clue my cryptic crossword said. I wasted several hours, nearly went right off my head I read the word as" Flower " so I missed it by a mile. It turned out to be "Flow-er and of course it meant the "Nile" Even though these exercises fill me with chargrin. I really like a challenge and i never will give in.

"Square Deal " S A T O R This Palindromic word A R E P O square in latin brought T E N E T acclaim. O P E R A No matter how you read it, R O T A S it always stayed the same. Word play and it's patterns throughout the years you'll find. Hangman and then Scrabble are 2 that come to mind.

"Flour" A " Phenomenal Flower" was another cryptic clue I couldn't seem to solve it using every trick i knew. Until I tried it backwards then i could finally see that,hiding in PH'enomena'L was one "anemone".

"Analyze this" I find that I am analyzing everything i've heard, to see if i can find another way to work a word. I know I take a keen delight in giving people fun . It's usually at their expense and might involve a pun. I dont believe in being rude or crude so when i write , the golden rule is something that i try to keep in sight. " Symmetry " Full symmetry letters are the ones in upper case that look the same both up side down or showing face to face. To give you an example X - H - I - and O Will always show their symmetry no matter where they go.

"Pyramid" V L L S S S E E E E This word is called a pyramid, You've seen them i am sure. But this one uses letters that run from one to four. When rearranged the letters form a new word it is true. If done properly"Sleeveless" is the one that that comes to view.

"Isogram" When a letter appears only once in a word. "Isogram" is the term that is used "Ambidextrously" I offer as proof. Check it out & you'll find i am telling the truth.

"Reverse" When i tried reversal i really was impressed . Just see what happens when you use the words "Desserts" and "Stressed."
