"A Peace plan"

What the world needs now is Harmony
for all those yearning to be free.
But how can we expect a peace
while rape and pillage do not cease,
and weapons of destruction are
concerned with just one man so far.
What we need's a better plan
to save the Brotherhood of man
for those U.N. Nuclear pacts
won't save us from A-Bomb attacks,
and it seems that this could be
if GOD and ALLAH can agree.
But i fear that any plan that's
left to the designs of man,
will flounder in the sands of time.
While we debate what's yours and mine,
and I find that rhetoric
is what helps to keep us sick.
"Do unto others"
before they do one to you
is NOT the golden rule it's true.
But if we absorb it's proper meaning
we could have an inner cleaning.
"In GOD we trust"
if this is so,
that's all we really need to know
until we reach that pearly gate,
And St. Pete sez
"G'day Mate".
