Sleep
The family's had their xmas break
4 days was all that I could take.
I couldn't eat my own ice cream
and all the littlies did was scream,
but now they're gone
as shadows creep
and finally i'll get some sleep.

Liquor's quicker
Having diabetes is not good at xmas time.
To tell you what you cant have,
everybody stands in line.
Sweets are out, they'll give you gout
and if you want it quicker.
Just you try imbibing on
somebody else's liquor.

"Pudding"
They say no xmas pudding
but I can plainly see
When they say Roly- Poly
they're referring just to me.

"Wreck"
I'm such a wreck I know that's plain
Don't know if I can take the strain.
with xmas gone now I believe
It's time again for New Years Eve.

"Forlorn morn"
Resolutions for New year
I wrote them down so they'll be clear.
but now as I look down the line
I hope for better luck this time.

"Years end"
Here's a toast before we go
Another new year 's here you know.
A new 12 month's is at the door.
Let's hope it's better than before

"Unhappy returns"
Xmas feasts were my downfall
my trousers now don't fit at all.
I'd say they're small
no one will buy it
It looks like I will have to diet.

"Size counts"
Some xmas gifts I'll sadly lack
as I queue up to take them back.
Don't take the risk it isn't wise.
Next year tell everyone your size.

condemned
The way I'm feeling at this time
I wouldn't recommend.
If I were a building
I would be condemned.

"The Bells"
Xmas time has come and gone
but the malady lingers on.
Too much egg nog really tells
And I still hear
"The bells, The bells."

"Clean up"
Pack up the tinsel, stash the tree.
It's exercise for you and me.
May the season never,
but pass the Alka-seltzer friend.

"Happy new year"
A new year lies ahead once more.
Lets hope it's better than before.
That there will be an end to strife
and we can live a peaceful life.
So may each day bring harmony
into the life of you and me.

"2005"
A new year comes to us once more.
Let's hope it's better than '04
For I am absolutely sure
that we have had enough of war.
May all our troops return again
so peace and happiness may reign,
and we experience the good
that comes from peace and brotherhood,
and famine then just cease to be
and become a memory
and the good lord's healing grace
overcome the human race.
