DRUG STORE DAYS |

For ten years, beginning in '81, I worked for a local drug store chain called Lane's Drugs. I started as a stockboy and quickly became one of their youngest managers. I also worked as a merchandiser, and on their remodeling crew. Over the years I had worked in every one of their nearly 100 stores in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indianna, New York, and West Virginia. The company was sold to a national chain in '89, and I left a couple years later. I still miss it though. |
