Computers Connecting the Village with the World


When the Contreras' first started to work with the people of Nuevo Valle de Moreno there was only one telephone for the whole village. Today, there are several phones and Internet service as well as several on-line computers in the school. Through their efforts and with help from some ex-pats of Guanajuato, the village schools were provided some computers and printers. For those of us who visited the village as late as two years ago the transformation is something just less than miraculous.
