Mariachis
The cost of having a group of mariachis play a few tunes for you at a restaurant or bar is getting so expensive that I fear in a dozen years or so, that the only mariachis around will be special groups that play for concerts, weddings, and special occasions. 
Almost every afternoon and evening mariachis play at the outdoor restaurants in the Jardin de la Union. Carole, Marti Cutler, from Phoenix, AZ, and Charlie listen to the music and enjoy the passing parade of people.
