Castillo de Montemayor located in the Village of Montemayor near Cordoba, Spain, was originally a Roman fortress. The first Lord Montemayor was
Martin I Alfonso, born in 1327 and died 1349. The last Lord
Montemayor was Jose Fernandez de Velasco, the XXIV Lord Montemayor. In
as much as no Montemayors have claimed the title, according to my
calculations, I must be the XXV Lord Montemayor.
The Village of Montemayor is a beautiful town, immaculately neat and clean surrounded by picturesque olive tree orchards and fields of wheat.

Montemayor castle, Castillo Montemayor Del Rio. Please check

in Spain. Some of the other Montemayor castles are a bit run down. Well, in what sort of shape are your family's castles?
