Guy was a farmer. He later learned the barber's trade, working at it
for three years before returning to farming. He also clerked in a
hotel in Plainview.
Guy died by hanging himself in the family barn. A note was left but
no reason was given for his action other then to say he "thought it
best for all concerned."
