Ona born August 22 nd 1995. A wintergreeting from Cha’s Fia Fiffi and Cha’s Ona Ofelia Written by Irene J.K.Bjørtomt ([email protected])

Fia born July 24 th 1998.
Hi! I want to send a greeting to all of them that I’ve got email from since the last time I said hallo to you. It’s fun that someone wants to talk with me as well. Fia looks up at me and smile the finest smile she can. She always does that to get some more attention. I guess some of you know this situation again I think. Fia comes in and says, it was me that should do the talking now. It has now become winter and it’s cold outside. Mum Ona think that it’s rather funny because then she can roll around as quickly as she probably can in the cold white snow, I on the other hand don’t like to do that. What about if there is something there that can make me dirty? I like to be nice in my fur that I have to say. Here a day my owner told me that she had seen on the tv that it was some dogs that freely had went along to get stripes in their fur, both blue, yellow and red.

I remember when I was little and looked like a ”punk” after I got my id identification in my ear and was totally green, that I didn’t like that’s for sure, is it really some dogs that can like that then? I think it’s rather the owners that wants others to look at their dog, myself I don’t need to have any stripes because I’m beautiful as I am and I get all the attention that I want.

Here in January the family went on a trip to a place called USA, there it was very hot, and they travelled on something called Cruise. The food there was very good, so I could think myself to travel on such a Cruise sometime as well. Imagine that you guys, laying there and have a good time, or most of all that someone gave you a massage. That would be something that I would have liked! I haven’t learned to swim just yet, but it sounds fun to be in a bubble bath. My owner said that it was very hot, so I don’t know if I could have managed it anyway… When they were away it was a boy that took care of mum and me, we got our food as we should, but it wasn’t any long cuddle times and walks down to get the mail as I’m used to. So when my owner came home from the holiday you can imagine how glad I was.

Ona is coming towards us and want to talk a little. Hi, since the last time I’ve got a small infection on my eye, something called an absess. The only thing that I know, is that I wish it would og away soon. I try to roll around in the snow, I try to take my paw over my eye, but nothing helps and that irritates me so much. Now I’ve started to get something that tastes rather strange and is called herbaltea, it should help the absess on my eye. I’ll do anything to get rid of it, so don’t come here and say that I’m not clever!!

I don’t like very much when any of my people is talking in the phone, but now my mum has gone back to Fredrikstad, and here a day when I went towards the phone, sat down and looked at the human and on the phone. At last she understood what I wanted to say!! So, she called my mum and told her that I wasn’t very good. The thing that is good when you are sick are that you get something extra food sometimes. The tea is ofcourse mixed out in my food, so then it’s a sure thing that I eat it up. I’m a dog, and eats ut my food!!

Fia wants to tell some more again, yes of course mum it’s good that you want to be with us as well. Fia hurry and find a rather big stick and then Ona comes in a hurry and want to play. Fia run as fast as she can when she’s coming back she says proudly: This game I’ve played since I was little and I’m never bored with it. Every time my owner comes by I hurry to get a stick, and then my mum and I run around a little. Then I give the stick to my owner and we run all we can to get it. The one that comes first is the best. When it’s a fine sun as today mum Ona and I use to lay on the top of the tinroof on our doghuse in our running garden. There we have our look-out post. It happens that I lay beside my favorite tree also. Mum is the watchdog and at once when she sees something strange, she gives the notice. She has told me that she have quite a few jobs-: she has to watch over the whole bunch, be on guard if it comes strangers, raise me ( why does she have to do that?!)I also get some of these jobs as well, but what I like the most is to go on walk and to get my cuddletimes.

Today the mailcar came up to us and then my owner didn’t want to go down to the mailbox since there wasn’t any mail. –It’s not necessary today is it, she said. I wagged extra with my tail and thought that it meant that we should walk an extra long walk. My owner often sit besides a box that it’s called computer and she’s on the internet. I don’t understand much of it, but in any case the power went off and then she had to come out to me anyway. Maybe I have magical powers, I was thinking to my self. We went down to the mailbox, and I could smell as much as I wanted. I don’t expect to much, I’m rather nice. It’s fun to smell, I dig my nose long way down in the snow, because I have to know who has been there, and that I take pretty serious.

The mum to Ona says that I’m not very obedient. What does that mean anyway? Is it because I jump up on my owner every time we are going for a walk or bite my mother in the ear? Or is it that I often snik down into the foodbag to try to get some goodies? My owner is also a ”goodies mums” , and I have heared that dogs and owners should be very much alike. All in all I think that I’m a kind little dog and I have it so well when I can take all the runs and play in our garden, there I can run as fast as I want, when we are walking down to the mailbox or the cuddletimes I’m looking forward to everyday. Besides that it isn’t much nes, but you know as good as me that a doglife has it’s small pleasures which we are allowed to have over and over again. That is what I call life, to be able to do all the things that I like.

As I've said before if someone wants to come and visit me then you’re welcome to do that. I’ll see if I come up with some exciting stories till the nest time, but as I say I think it’s exciting enough. Every day has it’s own gift, and this gift is to give some of my thoughts with you.

Many dog greetings from Fia Fiffi, , mum Ona Ofelia and Irene. email: [email protected]
