We would want to tell you about how our people have behaved lately. It has been something called a Christmasholiday.It started the day that my mother was on visit here, Ona is telling. She stood high up, on something called a tractorshovel. So high up I have never been, but it sure would have been fun to try sometime, but I don’t think that I get permission to do that . Anyway she had a wire around her and some funny things that’s called light. On the wall on the frontdoor they had some nails which the lights were placed on, and the funniest was when she started to sing when she did that. Then of course we had to look extra at here, it’s not that often that we are on a concert!

When the lights were switched on they were shining so nicely. – I did want to take the wire an run off, said Fia. Then they just said strict NO to me, it’s a bit unfair that we can’t do such funny humanthings…It became a little bit better when I got an extra cuddletime later, I like that very good too!!

The first time I saw the snow come I thought, finally now I can bath again, but it was only some snowflakes that I could catch and unfortunately not roll around in, says Ona and show her white snout forward, but as you now can see the snow has finally arrived. It blows rather much since we live up on a top, one evening it was so much snow that we nearly dissapeared

Both of us when we should og out, so that day it wasn’t very funny to play there. We were down in the house till long time in the evening, around the time that we use to have our last evening walk and cuddletime. We have it good down in the house with all the new straw that has been layed down there, and the warminglamp that is shining and warming.

- Now I would rather tell how the next day was, says Fia and comes with her big stick. My human came out to say hello to us as usual, but unfortunately I couldn’t take my round around the house like I use to, so then I had to run back and forth trough the house. Later in the afternoon the one that is called the "boss" here. She found out something smart, to spread foodballs around the whole house, and then we had to dig and dig a little more and then at last we had a little way around there, and it was much easier to take the round, Fia smiles triumphent and continues to play a little, Ona tries to take away the stick from her as normal.

The humans did many strange things in the prechristmastime. One day they hung up 3 birdnets with food to the birds in. We have seen some that has been visiting it, and infact today I was pretty smart after we had taken our walk, says Fia and gets "hooliganear". We should og inside to our doggarden, when I ran off, jumped up in one of the trees and took the birdnet, I ran some times around the big house, and my human was not very satisfied, after she had run som rounds after me I desides that now it could be enough and ran inside to my doggarden.

Mum Ona was very please with my catch, we had a great time playing with the net and eat trough the small wholes, the art was of course to try to open the net so that we could eat as much as possible. If someone think that we was eating birdseed, it wasn’t that in it…The humans had taken some leftovers from some meatfat which they had taken up in such small washingnets that the humans use.

We didn’t like it much when they had to polish the windows and hang up the curtains. Then we tried to make us as beautiful as we could, but that didn’t help much. They just kept on doing this gnikking and gnuing on the windows and it was some nasty noices so that we had to tell dem, isn’t that so?

Something that was a little bit funny to look at was a light snowman that they had bought, it was cute to look at. Unfortunately we couldn’t take that either…such is that case. We have heared that the "boss" has said that plenty of times. She has seen something called "Amalies Christmas" it’s something about santas. We don’t know much what these santas does, or how they look. So then you can imagine how confused we were one evening, when we were going our walk. The humans had sat up two santafigures in wood that were carrying each a torch in the hand. We have by the way started to walk one and one now, the humans found out that we were more attentive then.

It’s always I that use to og first, tells Ona. I smelled around as I use, and then I saw two small persons standing beside one of the trees. I think I have seen them before, but it’s not very often that they are here, maybe only around christmastimes? I went towards the santafather and smelled carefully, but he didn’t want to say hello to me so then I just went away. I thought it was a bit strange, I thought he might would have moved. Of course I had to say hello to the santawife also, to be on the safe side of course. Later it hasn’t been so special to see them there, but we have to og there and smell a little once in awhile to be sure.

Fia tells that she was rather glad when she was going on her walk. I did want to carry the santa with me, I have manged to carry big things before, and besides I smelled that it was wood, and that is what I use to play with, but this santa as it’s called I weren’t allowed to take with me, and I that thinked it looked so nice . It was many good places you could have bitten a bit on. On the big evening that’s called Christmas Eve, then the christmassantas got candels in their lightcages, and later the humans lighted candles along the way up to the house, that was very nice to look at also. We weren’t allowed to smell the light either, because then we could have burned us on it.

A couple of times lately now have we smelled something spesial of my human when she comes home. She told us that she had been visiting a friend that had a little puppy that wanted to cuddle. This puppy we are of course very interesting in knowing all about, so when we were going on our walks that day I went close to her(our human) , said Ona. The others stood in the window and looked, they thought that I were going to roll around in the snow, since it was so much snow, but I was so occupaid with smelling so I didn’t nearly get time to sit down to do my business.They had later said to her, what did you have in your pocket then? Nothing had she said, it was just a smell that Ona thought was exciting and demanded full attention.

  -It’s rather obvious I have to say, that you want to smell extra, especially when you feel another dogsmell on the hands, trousers and in the hear. So of course we had to have an extra long cuddletime to smell even a little bit more.

-I was a little curios, I have to admit, says Fia, but I wasn’t as much as my mum was. I went on my walk as normal, and when it was my turn to smell so I had to find out a little bit.

-In Christmas my mum has been on visit, and the sister to the "boss". When the sister goes by we bark a bit, because we know that she doesn’t like us much, and that we can’t understand at all.

- On Christmas Eve we should get something good to eat on, says Fia. Both of our humans came with each their newspaper that they gave to us. – I thought it was fun with the newspaper, so I run off with it back in the doggarden. Little did I know that it was something inside the newspaper that felled out of the newspaper when I started to open it, she looks towards Ona…The one that was so rude that she took both of the presents was my mum.

-Of course little child, it’s obvious that I took both of them when they were right before my nose, I think you would have done the same thing, so you shouldn’t say that I’m rude, says Ona smiling.

- But, I was lucky anyway, says Fia and in triumph again. We got a little bit of turkeymeat inside our cage, and then she couldn’t have the possibility to take it form me. Ona just shake her head, the youth now a days.

Here one evening my mum came with something called "blockfluite". It had a very special sound, but it was fun to listen to and we were in the dogchoir when she played for us. The humans have used to sing a little for us now in the Christmastime, and then we have seen a little bit extra at them, because that’s not how we normally hear them.

Here a day it was New Years Eve, we listened to the fireworks when we went on our walk, it was of course someone that had started to early. We didn’t care much, but thought it was nice with all the lights and the sounds. We were more occupaid of walking and roll around in the high snow. The day after the dad in the house had birthday, they have told us before that when he was little he thought they had the fireworks, because he had a birthday, and he think that it’s something special about beeing a New Years Eve child.

We think that we are as much important, and it was nice that we got presents as well. This time we got the "dog feast" and the turkeymeat into our cages. The humans must have learned, Fia says as the wise and smart dog I am and stare with the darkbrown eyes, and now I’m going to lick your hand so then you’ll be very nice.

As you have heared we had a rather nice Christmas time also, with both presents and cuddle. I have sendt a picture of me from the first Christmas I spent together with the family, Ona says. They had desided that they wanted to dress me up, but one thing I have to say to you and that it didn’t work at all to walk in that stuff, so luckily after they had taken the pictures they took it off of me, and luckily they haven’t done the same thing again after that.
