AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED

AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED!!

Thank you since the last time to all of you. Now the summer is over, and we have ended our daily swimming. The day after the last time we took a bath in the brook, then I was very clever. Ona looks proudly up when she starts to tell. It had rained a lot that day, so then I took and rolled around in the wet grass which was just beeing cut, so then I became totally green and wet. After that I began to bark a little in the middle of the afternoon and finally I was allowed to come inside the house. They thought a little sorry about me since I couldn't take my bath anymore. There I got a lot of cuddeling and of course that is something that I like. When I was there then my mother from Fredrikstad called and then they took the phone to where I was, I heared her voice, but I couldn't see here anywhere. I don't like these phones, what is the point to talking into it, when we can't get any cuddeling??

Early in the morning while it was still dark mum Grete takes a walk with us. It's her that takes care of us early in the morning. Then we get a little walk with the morningroutine as you know, and with sniffing and marking. It's many different smells that early in the morning, when it's still a little bit of raindrops in the grass. Then we relax a little bit inside till it becomes bright and it's time for us to get our morningfood and be outside in our doggarden.

What I find a little bit strange, says Fia and looks a little confused, is that when I bark then I hear another dog barking back to me. I can't see this dog, but I can hear that the sound is coming from the big house that is called a barn. This sound is a little bit scary I think, I wonder who the dog is? The humans say that it is an echo. They say that it's my own voice, but it couldn't be, I should have known my own voice..

What I like the best when we are taking our walks now, is that we can eat apples from the garden. We both like to eat the apples. Of course we have to smell them and pick out which are the best. Some of them are hard, some we don't like and others is just there to be eaten. We like best the ones that is very fine and mature. What Fias ownder don't think is very funny is when we sometimes is so eager that we run around the trees and get our flexiropes around the trees. Then she says go back and drag a little bit for us to come back. Sometimes we are nice and do what she says, but it's almost her that got to get us arond the tree.

Here a day it rained so much and she didn't want to go on a long walk with us so that we could get our apples, but what we did then when she let us go in the hallway, was to "run away" down to the appletree and get our apples after all. She thought that we were clever that got right back to her afterwards , and showed her our apples. Besides then she knows that we want our apples, as long as there are any there anyway.

The cat on the farm has now got a boyfriend on visit. He is here almost every singel day. As you might know I don't like cats much, says Ona. Then I tell him that he has to get away. One time we run after him so he had to run up in the phonepole. Our people didn't like much that we did this, but it was him that asked for it.

Usually we are rather nice, but the times when we makes noice is when we are inside the hallway and wait to get the rope on to walk down to get the mail. Then we jump around, hanging in eachothers necks, bits and scratches a bit as well. My owner has several times tried to try to make us stop, says Fia. - Now you have to stop, says Ona. It's you that makes the noice, not I. - As you say mum, I guess you are always right, but I like so well to take these walks and then I might be a bit eager. I always try to sneak and see if there is any food in the foodbowl , but I'm not allowed to do that. When we finally have the ropes on and we are ready to walk down to the mail, we run everything we can with her after us. She always says that we are not very obedient, but there I think she takes wrong, it's just her that don't know what she should do, we takes the steering and we think that we are very obedient.

Now it has started to get dark outside rather early. Not a very long time after we have got the food then we say that we want to go in. Sometimes someone at the neighbourfarm takes their dogs out, or we see some animals in the wood or maybe we know the clock? Anyway, we take a little walk before we go inside the house where we sleed. Of course it's very nice that we take an extra walk later in the evening, and then of course with an extra cuddletime.

Fia is very proud. Before my human had to help me inside my cage, it might happen that she thought I should run away. Now I get inside by myslef. She always have a little breadbite or apple, so when I see that I have to hurry up or maybe my mother takes it all. Ona just smiles because it is always her that get the attenion first, she says proudly.

The cuddletime is something that we like very well. - I think it is most fun to smell at my human, especially in the hair or at her jacket. It's so many strange smells. Sometimes it is something called pigsmell, and other strange smells that is called shampoo and there are different types. The times that she is going to do something special she has something extra on called perfume, which is a stronger smell. I'm lucky we don't have to change smells that often, it's more easier for us. I have also thought about that when we are going away the humans always have a lot of stuff with them because they have clothes and other things, we don't have to have with us that much, just some food, and a rug to have inside the cage. The humans would never had to make it with just that little.

Have you thought about one thing. Since we don't have hands as you have it's not that easy to eat if the apple is big, but we have our metods and when you think about it we have to be incredible smart that is able to do so many things. We run faster than you because we have four legs, and we smell better and we are taking a notice on every single thing that happen in our dogworld.

You can't always understand us, but one thing is for sure that if you only knew what we thought then you would have understood that then we would have told you that we love you anyway how you look, how much mony you have, what that is..We understand that the humans need to have a little friend that tells them that the world is a nice place and that the love is the gift that we give to you.

Think about it dear humans. Isn't your dog your best friend, and don't you tell everything to your friend. What would you have done if you didn't have had us? So even if you don't think about it, we are always happy when we see you.

That is why I take my rounds around the doggarden when we are going for a walk, says Fia and takes the stick with her. We will probably always like to run after sticks, run away if we smell some exciting smells, try to get some extra food or even a little bit more of cuddeling. Fia says that when she is down in the doghouse, while Ona looks after things.

Ona tells that when she is going to have the cuddletime inside the cage, she is often so impatient because she wants to be petted. I'm coming nearly out of the cage to say so, hurry up and come down to me and then I'm totally wild, I like so much the cuddletime. Espesially when "our human" lays on my stomach, it remains me of the time when I had my puppies laying on my stomach, and it is safe and good. I'm warm on my stomach, and I feel it all over me. I understand that the human also likes this warm. When she holds the hands on my head , or rub me in the back of my neck then I smile satisfied and makes noices as a sign that I like this.

When I lay with my legs up in the air and is beeing cuddled on the stomach, then I'm almost in dogheaven. It's some of the best things I know if you don't mention pancakes and nectarines. As you probably understand we have it well the both of us. Not so much new to tell, but we'll keep you updated. I'm now waiting for the winterbath in the white that the people calls snow. Then I use to roll arond several times a day, so then I get rather white and nice.
