Shadow 1979
The 1979 Season was Elio De Angelis' maiden year in F1. Paired with the more experienced Jan Lammers Elio soon proved to be the one to watch, and it wasn't long before he started to haul the Shadow into positions it really shouldn't have been. The culmination of the season proved to be Elio's 4th place finish at Watkins Glen, which virtually guaranteed Shadow's travel expenses for the 1980 season.
