Not-Quite Render Gallery

While I enjoy being known for my starship bridge renders, there's been plenty of other projects over the years that I've started, abandoned, or even finished but never - until now - shown to the public at large. As such, please enjoy these various projects.

Library Object: LCARS Console, User Seated

Originally created for the USS Surprise's bridge, this console is a staple of the Coronado Bridge mesh, used extensively through the bulk of the renders. This seated user console is actually one of three 'pre-fab' consoles I've created for use in meshes, with the remaining two being a variation on the seated console with built-in chairs ala the Galaxy class bridge, and a wall section with monitors which was modified and also used on the Coronado's bridge. (Both are pictured in the 'Return to Gallery Menu' icon link.)

Only recently have I come back to this particular pre-fab to add more detail to it; I changed the materials in use to a darker gray, added detail and a light to the bulkhead end and the header, added access port covers to the footer, and included a lighting strip that is separate from the console to allow for its optional inclusion via 3DSMax R3's xrefs.

Alien Landscaping

Since I'm still not quite up to the level of sculpting plants and bushes in 3DSMax R3, I decided the least I could do is some strange looking 'Alien Landscaping'.

Abandoned Project: Jupiter Station
Not available for viewing yet.

Featured in a Voyager episode, the Jupiter Station was one of the easiest meshes I've ever worked on. The bulk of this mesh was completed inside of 2 days and is accurate to the two screencaps I have of the station from that episode.

This mesh was abandoned due to a lack of good hull map materials; current renders utilize a Galaxy class starship saucer map.

Long Term Project: MIDAS Array
Click to view Also featured in a Voyager episode, the MIDAS array is a complex set of solar panels and plantons in a compact satellite dish shape. At the moment, it has no materials assigned yet and the central hub is not correctly depicted.

Completed Project: USS Pegasus Intro Graphic

Created to serve as the opening graphic for the USS Pegasus website, but was not used in favor of a starship shot instead. Uses Pegasus Engineering mesh as background.
