Last time I had the opportunity to work with Des, was in Athens Greece ,on the Renaissance Operation. Even though he was ill, he still came down to handle the flights as he was short on Engineers. He maintained his humor throughout his illness..

Difficult to imagine he will not be around anymore...He actually took part of our life with him.
We were used to having him around. Popping up where you did'nt expect him....
