Editor's Note: This Nathaniel Young was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Hughes Young of Perry Co., KY. Thomas' earlier ancestry can be found on this web site at http://www.geocities.com/charryoung/early.html.  Nathaniel also first married Lucy Fields in Perry Co, and had a family with her. The Kentucky family knew about the West Virginia family but the West Virginia family did not know about the Kentucky family.  The story has been passed down through the Kentucky family that Nathaniel killed a wagonmaster in Kentucky and fled to West Virginia, met and married Elizabeth Sargent.
