Nami is a fairly typical looking Caster; she is a lithe, smooth skinned dragoness. Her face, primarily characterized by her bright blue eyes, is long and predatory, and it is crowned by three swirling grey horns- one in the center of her forehead and two in the back of her skull. She also sports a pair of thin wings which curl at their ends, and a long unornamented tail. Nami is often seen wearing traditional Abiandern jewelery on all four limbs, as well as her tail, and she does, later in life, have an Alliance tattoo on her left shoulder.

With a generally friendly disposition and optimistic view of the universe, many people find it easy to like Nami, but very few find that they are able to have anything but a shallow relationship with her. She doesn't avoid close friendship, but those who attempt to get close to her find that she doesn't seem to trust anyone, and that many of the stories she tells are tall tales or outright lies. Those who stick around find that Nami does this because she likes to hide her past, but most people, once they figure her out, are turned off by these habits. Her optimism too can become something of a turn off, as she seems to have too great a conviction for the good of the universe, and can can really bother those who are struggling. However, Nami isn't all sunshine and a fake exterior- there are times when people find her to be surprisingly serious, often when things have become dire. Such times encourage those who are her friends, as her actions then speak loudly of her loyalty and kindness.
