Personality:Ina is a shy creature most of the time. Despite her size and considerable strength, she is also quite fearful and likes to stay out of other peoples way. Ina is not afraid to fight however, and when her friends are threatened she can become almost unstoppable and sometimes violent. These incidents are not altogether far and in-between, but for the most part Ina is a gentle being, and very loyal to those that she trusts. She is definitely not a leader, but Ina-nal should never be ignored, as what she says is often true. She loves flying above all else, and enjoys piloting almost as much, though she tends to travel at unsafe speeds. Ina is also something of a clean freak, liking everything to be in its proper place. |

History:Ina-nal is one of the many beings who appeared during the Diirsta burst, which occurred on the edge of Federational Alliance space when portal construction tore a temporary hole in what is believed to have been a pocket of space somewhat akin to the theoretical Klein bottle. Her life before this occurrence is lost to her, though her name seems to have remained with her through the chaos. Harvested from the hole by a group of slave traders, Ina-nal would have been sold into bondagement if it had not been for another Diirsta being named Ackturunten. With her help, the two of them were able to dispose of the slavers, and take control of the ship. As soon as they had figured out the vessel well enough to change its course, the two freed the rest of the creatures who had been captured at the rip. The small group, all of them without pasts or any knowledge of what they were, wandered for sometime, looking for a place to call home. However, such a place could not be found, and so they abandoned their search. Ackturunten, having become the leader of the commandeered ship, decided that it was time for them to find their own way in the universe, and being an aggressive creature, he decided that they would try their hands at mercenary work. Ina-nal was secretly against such a job, but she had learned to trust her friend, and went along with him. It did not take long for the Diirsta to become almost infamous for their work, leaving no assignment unfinished... or uncleaned, as Ina insisted that they mop up after themselves. It was not until Ina-nal and Ackturunten met a fire elemental named NinQueesha, that they felt that anything should change. Hearing the little humanoid explain dragons and bondings, Ackturunten decided that they should try for a bonding. Ina agreed, but for different reasons. She loved her team mates, but they were not like her, and the thought of finally having someone to understand her was too good of an opportunity to pass up. If she could bond a dragon, perhaps she would even be able to get out of the mercenary work and settle down somewhere. |
