Duo is an ex-soldier and the hero of the story. He lives just like any other ex-soldier: he's poor, he has broken pride, and has old war relics in his house. He wakes up every morning and lives his life away just like any other person waiting for his day to die, but fate gives him one more chance to do something to help the world he once loved.
