Magical Theory: Large Wand Exercises

(Week One)
Exercise One:
Attracting

Grasp the large wand with your left hand. With thumb and index finger facing away from you, place the notched end against the middle of your torso (just beneath your ribcage). With thumb and index finger facing away from you, grip the middle of the wand with your right hand while pointing it about three to four inches from the wall. (Note: Reverse these instructions if you are left-handed.) Close your eyes and visualize the wand pulling you toward the wall. Within a matter of seconds, the small wand end will settle against the wall.
Perform this exercise five to ten times each day for a week. Record your progress.

Exercise Two: Repelling
Standing with a chair behind you, hold the wand as described in Exercise One.
Close your eyes and visualize the wand thrusting you away from the wall. You will quickly lose your balance and fall into the chair. Perform this exercise five to ten times each day for a week. Record your progress.

Astral Wand Exercises

(Week Two) Exercise Three: Wand Visualization
Wrap and store the wand. Repeat Exercises One and Two while visualizing the wand in your hand.
Perform this exercise five to ten times each day for a week. Record your progress.

Exercise Four: Attracting and Repelling People and Places Repeat Exercise Three, but instead of using the wall as the object of the exercise, work with attracting and repelling a person or place. (This is also a great exercise for attracting what you want from life, and clearing out any negative energy.)
Perform this exercise five to ten times each day for a week. Record your progress.

Small Wand Exercises

(Weeks Three and Four)
Exercise Five: Circling and Directing Place a cup, bud vase, figurine, or other object on a table or windowsill in your room. Using the pointed tip of the small wand, draw a circle around the object in a clockwise motion. Point the wand at the object, and close your eyes. Concentrate on a musical note, a simple song, or a nursery rhyme. Then direct that energy from your mind and will it to travel down your shoulder and arm, wrist and hand. Will it to travel down the length of the wand, out through its tip, and into the object.
Continue to work with this exercise daily, building the power and infusing the object until it is completely saturated.
The goal is to eventually hear the sound when you enter the room. Record your progress.

Exercise Six: Circling and Rejecting Bring something into your room that doesn't belong there. Put it in a prominent place-a place where you'll see it every day. (It doesn't matter what the object is. It could be a bar of soap, a can of green beans, or even a roll of toilet paper. Just make sure that it's something that would not normally be in your room.) Using the pointed end of the wand, draw a circle around it in a counterclockwise motion. Then point the wand at the object, close your eyes, and, using the same energy flow technique in Exercise Five, will it to be gone. Try to ignore the object unless you're working with this exercise.
Continue to work with this exercise daily, building the power to reject the object. The goal is to be able to come and go in the room without noticing the object. Record your progress.
