Make you own cough and cold medicine.
In a stainless steel pot combine the following
.3 cups of water
1/2 cup of whisky
1/2 cup black strap molasses.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat 1cup dried wild cherry bark. Let simmer on lowest heat about 25 minutes - (water will evaporate slightly.) Stir with a wooden ladle (this gets hot) remove from heat let sit for about 15 mins. Strain with a coarse strainer into a clean fruit jar or bottle. Take 2 to three times daily bye tablespoon.
Fish Poisoning
Boil 1 pint of water and add 1tsp each of :
cherry or wild cherry bark,
fresh, grated ginger root
minced Bermuda onion.
Cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 7 mins. Remove from heat let steep 20 mins, about 2 cups a go.
