People  An old friend sent me this song, "Im still in love with my ex" by Kelly Rowland. Im listening to it right now. It talks about going from one situation to the next (one relationship to another) and how it can get overwhelming and mask the truth of the "old situation". Obviously, this person knew me from back in the day. I try not to focus on some aspects of the person that I was but I understand that there are some apologies I should be making (have made). Im not entirely the person I was over 5 years ago. I've struggled with maintaining the positive qualities that made me special to many people and losing the characteristic flaws that confused a shit load of people. In the "situation" Im in now, there are less of those flaws but along the way I have lost a bit of the good stuff too. In losing the good stuff, I have lost a lot of self confidence and glow.
So we are always changing, some for the good, some for the bad, some personal growth while others grow successfully in careers and wealth. I've grown equally in both, however I cant quite say Ive bloomed...
