Charmpress does not associate with TVB, Miss Chinese International and its production in any way. The information list
here is obtained from various sources, and research conducted by the Charmpress researcher. We do not participate
in the selection of Miss Chinese International finalists. We cannot provide any interest party who willing to take part
in the aforementioned pageant, with any official guidelines. However, we do give personal advise about how to join
the pageant and its criterion. In addition, we are able to provide you with contact details of your local pageant franchisees.

Am I eligible for Miss
Chinese International Pageant?
Miss Chinese International is looking for beautiful and
talented young Chinese women, aged between 17-25,
natural born female, who reside abroad (outside China),
Single and never give birth to a child.
Do I have to participate in
a preliminary competition in order to enter the Pageant?
Yes you do require participating in a preliminary
competition in order to qualify for the international final.
You will have to join a local pageant in your most
convenience area, (e.g. if you reside in US or Canada,
there are quite a lot Miss Chinese International
franchisees, located in more than one region, such as
Toronto, Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago, New York, and LA
etc. Unfortunately, some of the franchisees hold
the local pageant once every two years, under this
circumstance, you may want to travel to the second most
convenience area to join the local pageant, and so
on.
How many preliminary
competitions were held every year?
Between 18-22, preliminary competitions are usually
held each year, since the popularly of the competition
is expanding, therefore the number of preliminary
competitions are increased year by year. Over the past
few years, South American Chinese beauties are also
able to join the prestigious International pageant.
If there is not any
preliminary competition held in my city or any nearby region, am I still able
to join the
pageant?
Well… In this case, there are still hopes. I would like
to ask you to be patient and optimistic. You are welcome
to send your CV directly to TVB Ltd, TVB hold the final
decision whether accept you as a contestant or not.
I am Chinese, currently
studying aboard, but I do not hold a citizenship in the city where I stay, Can
I still apply
for the contest?
Yes, you can. As long as you hold legal travel document
and visa authorised by the local immigration.
Then you are eligible to join the pageant.
I am half Chinese, but I do
not too much Chinese, would it affect my chance to join the pageant?
Over the years, there are many contestants do not speak
good Chinese but later they won the contest.
So do not worry about it.
