Astral Projection: Astral Projection is separating the soul from the body. By concentrating you can seperate your soul and move it to another place.
This power is Prue's second power.

Aura: The energy that a person has flowing around his/her body, depending on the person's mood and personality the colour of the aura may change and the aura may be strong or weak.

Book of Shadows: The book in which the three Halliwells found out and I guess became witches. They use the Book Of Shadows when they need a spell or to find out something, like a demon or Warlock. Another name for this book could be a "grimoire."

Charm: Either an amulet or talisman that has been charged by saying an incantation over it and instilling it with energy for a specific task.

Coven: A group of witches who work together for magical endeavours or to perform religious ceremonies.

Familiar: An animal that has a spiritual bond with a witch. Familiars can also be entities created to protect your home from the astral.

Levitation: Levitation is going up, not really flying but just kind of floating on air. The power of Levitation is Phoebe's second power.

Pentacle: A circle surrounding a five-pointed, upright star (known as a pentagram). Worn as a symbol of a witch's belief and used in magical workings and ceremonies. Each point on the star has a specific meaning: earth, air, fire, water and spirit.

Power Of Three: The power of three is when all three witches work together. It will help them a lot during their time fighting.

Premonition: A premonition is where you have flashes of the future. If there is some kind of link in what you are doing this will happen. For example if there is something in the newspaper about something, if you touch it or maybe read it or what ever you would get a flash connected with it. So for example, it says something about drink driving, you touch the paper and you get a flash that there was a car crash caused by drink driving. The power of premonition is Phoebe's power.

Psychokinesis: Ability to move object that one cannot see with the power of one's own mind.

Spirit Board:
Also called a Ouija board. A Ouija board is a flat board with letters, numbers and the words "yes" and "no" etched on the surface. You may asked any questions and the pointer will be moved by spirits when called upon.

Telekinesis: Ability to mentally move an object one can see. Just by thinking about it will move. Not just objects, but you can throw people across the room, brake through doors and become more physically strong. The power of telekinesis is Prue's power.

Triquetra: Symbol of the Charmed ones, appears on the cover of the Book of Shadows.

Warlock: According to the Book of Shadows on "Charmed," these are evil demons or people who hunt and kill witches. Warlocks are former witches who failed to follow the "wiccan rede" (moral code). In reality the term Warlock comes from the Old English word "waerloga", meaning "oath-breaker".  Warlock is a derogatory term that was made up by witch-hunters.

White Lighter: This is what Leo is; they are like guardian angels, but for white/good witches

Wicca: Alternative name for modern witchcraft. The practice and beliefs of wicca date back to ancient times and formed the roots of the term 'witch" in Old English. Like the Druid's of the British Isle's they are both nature-based religions. They also have duel supreme beings: God & a Goddess.

Wiccan Rede: A moral code for all witches: "An ye harm none, do what ye will."
The basic idea is that as long as witches do not harm anyone with their potions and spells, they are free to do, as they like. That does not mean that all follow this, but at that point they would be more on the side of a Satanists.

Witch: a person, male or female, who follows the ways of witchcraft. A witch is not evil, yet if a witch uses her powers for evil she/he will regret it. A witch can also become evil if she/he makes a pack with darkness and become something they are not and in a way become a devil.
