Magh Bihu In CIEFL

More news.....

The CIEFL students are a bit more enthusiastic about this magh bihu.Firstly because there is considerable number of Assamese students this year and secondly as this Magh Bihu will mark the launch of the webpage of the Assamese community in CIEFL- Charminarorpora.

In the last few years the Assamese community in CIEFL(popularly pronounced seefl) has

been observing Magh Bihu. Last year the Assamese students of CIEFL celebrated Magh Bihu in a solemn traditional way.The Uruka Bhoz  and the  Mezi  on the next day left lasting impressions in the minds of many CIEFL-ites.On the Bihu day K. Jayakumar fromamilnadu was the speciel invitee. Clad in a white Mundu Mr. T Jayakumar enthusiastically took the special Jalpaan arranged by the

 Assamese students.

The Bhoz  which was prepared by the students themselves made all the people lick their fingers for days.

This Magh Bihu we are all getting ready for a grandiose celebration as a large number of Assamese students will be the part of the celebrations
