�I'm going to get the mail!� Shouted Rosa as she opened the front door. �Is there anything?� Yelled Prue from the living room. Rosa looked through the envelopes. �Yup!� She then she noticed an envelope from Canada addressed to her. Rosa�s eyes lit up. She put the letter in her back pocket and pulled her shirt over it. �What is there?� Asked Prue walking into the corridor. �Bills.� Said Rosa handing to envelopes to Prue. While handing Prue the envelopes her hand started to shake a little. �Are you OK?� Asked Prue. �I fell a little weak but it�s nothing. I got to get going to the doctor�s now. See ya later Prue.� �See ya for lunch.� Said Prue handing her car keys to Rosa. �Thanks for letting me borrow your car Prue.� �No problem anytime.� They hugged and Rosa headed for the door. As she left towards the car she popped a candy in her mouth. � Oh god please don�t let it be what I think it is.� She whispered to her self, and she rode off.
Piper then came down stairs and went into the kitchen. �Want some coffee, Piper?� Asked Prue �Yeah sure.� Piper then sat at the table and yawned. �Stayed up late didn�t you?� Said Prue handing Piper her cup of coffee and then sat across the table from her. �Yeah I had to finish the paper work for P3. Thank heavens I did. I couldn�t stay up late another night. Piper then took a sip of hr coffee. Then they heard Phoebe zip down the stairs and they saw her run through the kitchen door. �Oh good toast.� She said grabbing two pieces. Then she hugged and kissed her sister. Gotta go to school now. Going to miss the bus if I don�t hurry. Love ya bye!� Phoebe rushed out to the hall grabbed her purse and headed out the door. �Bye!� Both Piper and Prue yelled out as the door slammed. �Isn�t she ever going to wake up and eat a full breakfast, before going to school on a test day?� Said Prue laughing. �She made it a ritual to study late, wake up late, rushing to eat and catch the bus on time. It�s quite funny seeing her actually pulling it off. Said Piper laughing and heading to the living room window with Prue. Then both of them saw Phoebe sprint across the street and disappear around the corner.
Meanwhile while waiting in the doctor�s office Rosa took the letter from her back pocket and read it.

How are you? I missed you so much here in Winnipeg. I�m glad you found your stepsisters. They seem to be a great bunch of gals. I would like to meet them some day. My auto shop is doing great I have been getting a lot of customers lately. I also started to play the trumpet again. I will send you a tape of me playing soon. My sister misses talking to you. You two are great friends. If you have the opportunity to call me that would be great. I miss hearing your voice. A smile spread across Rosa�s face as she placed the letter near her heart and closed her eyes. She rested her head against the wall and drifted off into space. She never smiled like this in a long time and if felt good. �Miss Halliwell. The doctor can see you now.� Rosa opened her eyes startled by the interruption, and quickly got up. �Are you all right Miss Halliwell?� Asked the receptionist. Yeah I just got a little startled that�s all.� Rosa then placed the envelope back in her back pocket and saw the doctor.
Meanwhile a demon named Raisora was in a dim lit room looking through to the mortal realm. �I must find a suitable witch�s body to take place before the one I am in deteriorates.� She kept looking different witches flashed before her until she stopped at one she found perfect. �She will be the next one her body is perfect.� She said with a big grin. �Now to find the perfect time to take it over, and until then I must cast a spell to make this body last longer.� Raisora then laughed hideously.
Rosa opened the door to the manor and dropped her purse on the floor but she still gripped the little zip up pouch her doctor gave her. �I�m home.� Rosa said barely audible to Prue who was in the kitchen. She was on the verge of crying but she was trying her best to hold it back. Rosa then sat on the couch in the living room her hands in her face. Prue heard her and quickly went to her. �What�s wrong?� Asked Prue walking into the living room. �Hey sweetie what�s wrong?� Asked Prue sitting next to her on the couch. Prue brushed away some of her hair from her face. Then Rosa turned and faced her. Tears streaming from her face. �I might be diabetic.� She said finally crying, releasing all her pent up sadness. � Oh sweetie it�s all right.� Prue said pulling Rosa in for a hug. �It�s OK let it all out.� After a couple of minutes of crying Rosa slowly calmed down and they both had a long conversation over lunch.
�I�m home.� Yelled Piper. �Hey Piper how was your day at P3?� �It was great we got in the new karaoke machine today.� Smiled Piper �Oh goody I want to be the first to try it out.� Said Prue. �Where�s Rosa?� Asked Piper �She�s in the conservatory she found out that she might be diabetic and she wanted to be alone for awhile.� �Oh.� Said Piper looking worried now. �How long has she been in there?� �About two hours.� �Well I�m going to see how she is doing right now.� Said Piper heading towards the conservatory.
Tons of pictures were spread all over the table in front of Rosa. �Hey Rosa mind if I sit down and keep you some company?� �Go right ahead.� Rosa�s voice sounded distant and she was staring at a picture in one hand and a pen in the other. �Who�s this?� Asked Piper taking one of the photos off the table and looking at it. �Oh� she said looking at her �that�s my boyfriend Aaron.� �Oh.� Said Piper a little surprised �I never knew you had a boyfriend.� �Yeah I never mentioned him because I just started writing to him last week. I was searching for you for a long time, that I never had the time to write him much. I would write to him at the plane stops at the airport. I was going to mention the letter I got today but the news that I might be diabetic got me depressed.� �It will be all right sweetie.� Piper the put on of her arms around Rosa�s shoulder. She scanned some of the photos on the table. �When was this picture taken?� Asked Piper taking one that showed a place that was covered in streamers and balloons. � That was my school Prom we called it the dinner and dance back at our school. That was the first time we went out.� Piper smiled �that�s cute.� Piper said pointing to one that showed Aaron in a teddy bear suit hugging her. �That was taken on Valentines Day of 1995. I was 19 then.� Rosa smiled a little but the smile faded fast. �I�m going to go into the kitchen for some water want any?� Asked Piper getting up. �Sure that would be nice.� Said Rosa writing on a piece of paper.
Piper walked towards the fridge and stuck her head in it looking for the bottled water. �Hey Piper.� Prue said taking out the ground coffee for the coffeemaker. �Hey Prue.� Said Piper emerging from the fridge with two bottles of water. �Is Rosa felling any better?� Asked Prue putting away the ground coffee deciding for a bottle of water herself. �She might seem fine on the outside but she�s defiantly hurting on the inside.� Said Piper taking a drink. She�s writing back to her boyfriend Aaron back in Canada.� Prue looked at Piper bottle in mid air. �I never knew she had one?� Said Prue lowering her bottle. �Yeah I just found out today they been going out for 6 years.� Prue almost choked on her water that taking her by surprise �Wow I wish I had a boyfriend that long. They must have a very close bond.� �Yeah well I�m going to go back now want to come? I think she could use more company� �Sure.� Said Prue. They then headed for the conservatory.
Rosa was about to get up to mail her letter when Prue and Piper came in. �Hey sweetie are you ok?� Asked Prue draping her arm on her shoulder. �I�m fine I guess I just want to go for a walk and mail this letter.� �Sure� said Prue �mind if we join?� �Yeah that would be fine.� Said Rosa slowly walking to the door. Prue followed. �I should leave Phoebe a note.� Said Piper writing on a piece of paper that Rosa left on the table and leaving it they�re for Phoebe. Both Prue and Rosa waited at the door for Piper. Rosa smiled slight and thought how great her stepsister was. Even though they aren�t fully blood related they treat her like she is. That�s why they call each other sister. Piper grabbed her coat and the three of them went for a long walk.
Phoebe came home from school and threw her bag on the floor. �I�m home guys!� There was no response. Rosa, Piper and Prue were still on their walk when Phoebe came home. �Guys? Where are you?� Phoebe looked everywhere upstairs. Then she searched downstairs. �Not even a note anywhere? Phoebe started to panic thinking something bad happened to them. �It�s not like them to not leave a note� Thought Phoebe while running into the conservatory. She saw all the pictures that were left on the table and curiously picked one up not noticing the note flutter to the ground. �Who is this?� Phoebe asked. Then Rosa, Piper and Prue entered the house. Phoebe ran to them still holding the picture in her hand and gave them all a big bear hug. �Oh my god where were you? I was panicking I didn�t know where you guys were. I thought some nasty warlock got you or something.� �We were out for a walk� Piper said through the bear hug. �Didn�t you see the note in the conservatory?� Phoebe let go of Piper and said �no I was just there.� Rosa looked at her with a flop-sided smile �I see you have.� She said looking at the picture in her hand. Phoebe caught her looking at it. �Oh is this yours? Phoebe said showing it to her. �I�m sorry didn�t mean to be noisy� she said a little bit embarrassed being caught. �They�re all mine but it�s ok I understand your curiosity. I would be too if I saw pictures I never seen on the table. That�s my boyfriend from Canada.� She said while walking towards the conservatory. Prue, Piper and Phoebe followed. �Really?� said Phoebe looking at the picture �hehe he is cute.� They all sat down around the table. �I have something to tell you. To all of you.� she was fidgeting with her hands �And it�s hard to talk about but you should know.� Rosa then pulled up her left sleeve and took of her watch. she then showed them something they never noticed before. Scars on her arm near her wrist and one on her wrist. �Where did those come from?� asked Prue. � I had them a couple of days after my mom died. I became very depressed and I cut my self. I eventually got help because of a good friend of mine helped me through it� Prue, Phoebe and Piper looked at her but Rosa kept talking. �and I don�t want to relapse in that state again. If you see me depressed can you please do anything and everything in your power to help me?� �Sure thing.� said Phoebe. Piper who was stunned got a chill in her spine and shook slightly. �You ok Piper?� Asked Prue �Yeah I get these sometimes um want to go to P3 and try out the karaoke machine?� she asked looking at all of them to change the subject that just rattled her. �I�m coming and I want to try it first.� Squealed Phoebe running to the door �To bad Phoebe I already called dibs on it first, Piper is my witness.� Yelled Prue back. �Aw no fair.� Prue and Phoebe were at the door �Come one I got a couple of songs you will love on the machine.� Said Piper to Rosa who seemed to be off in space. �Oh yeah sure. Then Rosa got up and they went to P3.
Raisora was getting very angry. �She must be alone there are to many mortals in that room and I can�t get her at home with three other witches.� She pounded her fist on the table in front of her. She then decided to keep her eye on her all the time till the perfect time came.
In a apartment downtown, a tall man in his boxers and t-shirt just woke up. He washed his face and went to the kitchen rubbing his head. �Lets see what�s in the mail.� He opened the door crouched down and picked up his newspaper and a few envelopes. He then closed the door behind him and looked through his mail. � Bill, bill.� Then he stopped and put everything else on the kitchen counter except one letter that came from San Francisco. A smile spread across his face. �She wrote back.� He sat down and opened it.
Dear Imzadi
Oh how I miss you. When I received your letter I found out some news that would have crushed me if it weren�t for your letter. I might be diabetic and this concern was in the back of my mind for a long time, because when my mom was pregnant with me she had it. Still hearing that I might have it is a hard blow. I have been exhibiting most of the signs and I told my sisters. I call them that now because were so close I'm glad I�m with them. They�re comforting me as best as they can and trying there best to not make me relapse into my depression. I have to go now. Prue, Piper, Phoebe and me are going to P3 to try out the new karaoke machine; Piper got for the club. Wish you were here.
