An Angel of Death is a being that is neither good nor evil and has the responsibility of collecting souls and carrying them into the afterlife.
Gideon
One of the most powerful Elders, Gideon was entrusted with the position as headmaster of Magic School. While he originally pushed for the Elders to allow Piper and Leo to get married, once Wyatt was born, Gideon's attitude toward the couple changed drastically. He feared that all of the power that Wyatt possessed would cause him to turn and become an unstoppable threat.
