The Source
The Source is the highest-ranking demon in the Underworld. He receives his powers through a coronation and is granted dominion over all demons in the Underworld. In order to remind his minions of his power and reach, all of them have the ability to sense him.
The Seer
An upper-level demon, the Seer has been around for thousands of years. Because she has the power to see the future, she has gained great respect in the Underworld. In fact, she has served multiple Sources.
Darklighters
Darklighters are evil counterparts to whitelighters, and have similar orbing capabilities. They also possess the only means of killing whitelighters.

Thirty-five hundred years ago the Hollow was unleashed on the world. The Hollow is a force that has the power to consume all magical powers and is impossible to destroy. The Hollow nearly decimated all magic and all things. Good and evil had to join forces and use their strongest magic just to confine the Hollow.
