Belthazor's known abilities include throwing energy balls and shimmering place to place, but his powers are probably not limited to these capabilities.

Zen masters are powerful, wise, mystical beings with an array of powers. They can use pools of water as portals to other worlds and are highly skilled in martial arts. Zen masters are responsible for training people as their successors as well.
Yen Lo
Yen Lo was a student of a Zen master who turned evil when his teacher skipped over him to be the Zen master's successor. He realized how to enter and escape from limbo and wanted to use his powers to kidnap all of the Zen masters and keep them in limbo so that their souls, and wisdom, would never be reincarnated.
