>> ZANE'S BIOGRAPHY

Unlike his elder brother Zack, who is half-mutant and half-witch, Zane is a pure blood male witch, therefore making him the most supernaturally potent of all Charmed Ones. However, though powerful, Zane was born to die. In season 2, he chanced upon the Angel of Death, who told him that only people who are fated to die can see him. 

From there on Zane has been cheating death. Soon after their meeting, Zane was attacked by a demon Shax, and almost died in the gruesome battle. After that he had been unknowingly being infused with an energy that the Hell-God Glory would kill to get her hands on. After lots of after injuries and near-deaths, Death finally caught up to Zane. He lost the battle of his life while protecting the rest of the gang from Storm's tsunami.

One third of the Charmed Ones and the Power of Three, Zane is sometimes referred to as a lone wolf - appearing cold and aloof most of the times, even though he's a real sweet, witty, and sensitive person. A walking chameleon who is rather self-conscious, Zane worked as an auctioneer at a place called Bucklands, but then quitted and became a freelancer, taking on odd jobs now and then. He finally settled as a mentor at the X-Manor, teaching control and usage of supernatural powers.

Zane's character is adapted from Prudence Halliwell of 'Charmed', Dean Forester of 'Gilmore Girls' and Dawn Summers of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.

>> ZANE'S POWERS

TELEKINESIS: Don't you just hate it when you reach and stretch, but something is still out of reach? Well, Zane doesn't need to... because he possesses telekinetic powers that enable him to move objects with his mind. Initially, he is the one who takes the lead in combat due to his more active powers, but that was until Zack triggered his ability to blow things up. Zane also has very latent abilities of foresight and telepathy.

ASTRAL PROJECTION/PORTATION: In early season 2, Zane developed the power to astral project - the ability to have out-of-body experiences so as to be at two places at the same time. In the season 3 opening, that power progressed, allowing Zane to physically teleport of himself through the astral or physical plane.

PSYCHOPYRESIS: Towards the end of season 4, Zane's telekinetic abilities escalated, and he gained the ability of psychopyresis - the ability to generate or manipulate heat and fire. His mastery of the fiery power is surprisingly acknowledgeable. Over a short period of time, he has learned to create fire balls, flamethrowers, heat waves, and manipulate heat/fire.

Zane once drove a classic 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, but it was trashed in his appearing chapter, where he was attacked by the mutant Sabertooth. Now, he drives a sporty-looking Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster.

Unlike most guys, such as his brother, who go for all leather and macho, Zane prefers to go with style, class, and comfort. In season 1, he had a slightly long, dark brown, center-parted hairstyle. Throughout the seasons, he hair grew lighter and lighter in shade, until in season five where it became blonde. Zane wears a variety of colors, and had a particular style when it comes to clothes - to wear a short-sleeved T-shirt over a long-sleeved one. He wore jeans most of the time, and while working at Bucklands, he wore business pants and jackets, and stylish leather trench coats.
