Character
Name: Tyler
WebbCharacter Age: 24 (Season Three) Character DOB: August 22, 1977 (Leo) Powers: Mimic Role-Played By: Rodrigo Santoro Banished from the reigns of Hell and onto the boring hum-drum Earth, Hell-God Glorificius is bent of going back to her homeland and nothing can stop her. In doing so, Glory needs a human body to host her fragile immortal soul. Thus, this is how Tyler Webb became a Hell-God's scapegoat, having no control whenever Glory takes over his body. A doctor-in-training and a sort-of disciple of Jean, Tyler has the mutant ability to mimic others' powers for a short while. In order to mimic, he has to see the power in action first. New to the manor and uneasy around his critical roommates, Tyler first encountered the Charmed Ones when he ran into a distraught Zane, who obviously had a serious clash with his 'big, bossy brother'. From there, Tyler realized that the both of them had a lot in common, and in exchange for friendship, Zane agrees to help Tyler brush up on his culinary skills. Little does Zane know that Hell-God Glory has the ability to take over Tyler's body as and when she wants. It is because of this possession that Tyler slowly gains demonic powers of energy balls, shimmering, enhanced strength, defenses and speed. When Glory takes over, she could use her immortality powers like agility and heightened strength. Zane remained oblivious that within him lies an energy that allows Glory to return to Hell, in doing so unleashes all Hell on Earth. On one fateful occasion, Glory realizes Zane is her 'Key', so she took over Tyler's body and captures Zane, and starts to prepare for the ritual that will send her home, and undoubtfully kill Zane. The Charmed Ones prevailed, vanquishing Glory, but the catastrophic event cost Zack's life. A surviving Zane temporarily blames Tyler for his brother's death, but realizes that with his big brother gone, he would need his friends more than ever. In season 5, however, Tyler bravely sacrifices himself in order to protect Zane when they realized that Glory was never dead. She was still residing inside Tyler's body, lying dormant the whole time. A bashful guy who chokes up around girls, Tyler's character is adapted from Cole Turner of 'Charmed', and Benjamin of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 5'. |
