| Watch as the spark flies
I see him with my curious eyes, waiting for his prey Jumping, attacking when least expected. I watch in horror as he takes that wild leap I stay quietly motionless, my breathing still Wondering what was going to be his next thrill. He strikes for no reason hurting all in his way. Sparks are flying. Watch out I cry he's on his way! He jumps in landing on his feet. Evil lurking in his devious eyes. There his prey lays not yet breathless, but left in shock. He walks away quiet, proud of his wrong doings. I do not morn the ones that he hurts. I only watch in awe as he stalks. I may cry out when he strikes one that I love, but even when I swear that I am going to send him away, he comes too me all full of joy. I close my eyes and I close my ears. Not wanting to hear not wanting to see the awful images of the damage done. Maybe he's living by pure animal instincts, or maybe he is guarding his domain. Whatever the reason I look away. All that I know Is the spark will be back you can be sure of that! By J.J Snyder This is written for someone dear too me you will be surprised who that is indeed! Sept. 9 2003 |
