| These two characters are Buster(Left) and Biff(on the right). They are Red Clawed Fresh Water Crabs from South East Asia and make a very easy and entertaining addition to the tank. But they are amazing escapologists. We've had to tape up all the holes in the hood with sellotape as we've discovered they can swim and climb up virtually anywhere. We often find Biff sitting in the filter box which is quite an achievement as we've removed all obvious means of access! Their main diet is bloodworm but they are also partial to a little fish! (The first week we had them they went through ten of our tropical fish between them) But they seem to have settled down the last couple of weeks and we have'nt lost any more. So we have started restocking and got some more tetras which are still all present and correct. |
