A Memento of My Youth

>>> Part of a series taken from a cheeky Valentine's Day Advent Calendar I made for David <<<

.............................................................

I'll admit, I do enjoy shocking people with my outrageous behaviour, but it doesn't mean anything more than that.
The thrills are usually short-lived...kind of like people who moon, or streakers on a football pitch...Not saying that I'll do that sort of thing...
All I am is a cheeky minx who's a big show-off.
I think almost everyone harbours exhibitionist tendencies (particularly writers and artists), albeit on different levels.
This is all part of being human.
I doubt there's anyone reading this who doesn't have at least a passing acquaintance with his/her bathroom mirror.
At least I'm honest enough to acknowledge that this is who I am. Nothing will ever change that, and I am not ashamed of it.
Everyone wants to be seen, heard, and understood (though not for the same reasons),
and it's nice to find out once in awhile that people think you're attractive, but I don't allow it to rule my world.
There's MORE to life than that...There's more to ME than that.

*****
We are only young once, so I guess this is kind of like a celebration of my youth (I'm now on the wrong side of 30...Eek!).
There are certain experiences in life I am most happy to do without, but this...
It's somewhere along the same lines as Rose Dawson posing for her portrait in The Titanic.
I find it amusing that some people are so easily scandalised and rendered speechless.
(Aaaah! Scary naked body...run away, run away!!!)
I'm not exactly sure how nudity could offend anyone. What is it about being unclothed that makes people infuriated?
I can understand how it might make some of us uncomfortable, but angry?
Oh well, perhaps someday, we might be able to break the taboo.
Frankly, my approach in this field is comparatively mild, especially since xxx porn is so readily available on the net.
This is strange for me, as I am normally fairly conservative, shy and reserved...I do not often share what's in my heart and head.
I have noticed, however, that many exhibitionists who put on a facade are, in reality, intensely private individuals.
Ok, so my sexual tastes might be a little risqu, but hardly unusual, and essentially harmless.

Just because I'm an exhibitionist does not mean David and I are swingers.
They are not the same things.
David and I are strictly monogamous.
David still remains the object of my love and affection, and nothing's going to change that, nor do I want it to.
He is irreplaceable.
I've been in quite a few open relationships in the past, but what I have with David transcends all that.
Couples usually have special and meaningful things they share, which don't include anyone else...
...and naturally, we'd like the most intimate of acts to be one of those exclusive 'things'.
Funny how other people have problems with my exhibitionism, but David doesn't, so it hasn't affected our relationship.
Or perhaps he's just not the insecure tit that some others are, and trusts in the bond we have.
In case you're wondering, I'm not trying to make a career out of this...
Nor am I a big fan of bestowing favours on a one-to-one basis, which means cyber and cam sex is out of the question...So don't even ask.
The whole point is that I only don my birthday suit as and when I feel like it...when I'm most comfortable.
Exhibitionism is nothing without power...Only I control what people get to see.
'Cos although David may have shares in this company, I'm still the boss of me!

*****
Anyhow, I'm young, and people (especially my David, who's in the pic below...and yes, all three figures are of him) find me attractive.
I'd like to rejoice in that before it all fades into creased sepia, and if I take after my natural mother,
it may be that I might get to appreciate youth, form and beauty a little longer than most!
Why should we hide what nature gave us?
Sure, there may be those who get the wrong idea, but pixels on screen can be ignored.
I may occasionally dress in eye-catching clothes that are completely out of this world (Cosplay!!!),
but I'm not dumb enough to leave my home in little bits of nothing, unless I'm with David or close friends I trust (usually women).
And if you're reading this, I believe I make myself pretty clear.
If you choose to misunderstand, that is your affair. You'll soon find that you won't get very far with me.
Models strip for the camera, and so do actresses...sometimes for money, sometimes for artistic purposes.
I flaunt for the latter reason (Philosophy: If you've got it...), but unless you're my other half, David,
this image is merely a painting on the wall.

Don't read anything more into it.
