| Local Event Planner Launches |
| DALLAS, TX -- Epiphany Evenings, a weekly poetry performance showcase, will debut and take center stage on September 1, 2001 at Palm Beach Reggae Club located at 2816 Main Street in Deep Ellum. Showtime is 7:00 - 10:00 p.m., tickets are $7.00 and are available at the door. Eventures, a local event planning company and the producer of Epiphany Evenings, will host the debut event and subsequent weekly showcases at Palm Beach on Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. "It is my hope, through Epiphany Evenings, to facilitate a meeting of cultures that ultimately connect through the many styles of poetry" said Charmaine Benton, the President of Eventures. "In The Company of Greatness" the events theme, references the dynamic ensemble slated to perform. From this special group, including popular local favorites such as, Michael Guinn, Honeysuckle, Prana, Black Coffee, The Black Resurrection, Adiah, Flow-Row, Chalie Boo Boo, Lionheart, Pnutbutta, Oni Zuric and Dr. Barry Williams, patrons can expect a fusion of backgrounds, voices and styles, anchored by spiritually enriching music and a much anticipated performance by members of the Blacken Blues Theater of African-American Life. "All artists are committed, through their chosen performance to present their craft as a source of strength and inspiration while promoting understanding and respect for individuals and cultures." Benton further commented. The event is being sponsored by Dallas' Rolling Out Urbanstyle Weekly along with special prize giveaways donated by Palm Beach Reggae Club & Restaurant and Studio, Dance, Arts & More. Eventures offers full special event planning and management services to the Dallas and surrounding communities.
