Monday Night - 2002
[Engine 12]   
Each Monday night at Folkston Divison, in house training is done. Each monday night there is a different subject
that is covered. The first week, each firefighter learned how to pump Engine 12, and hook to a fire hydrant.
The following week, the drop tank and floating pump was taught.

CPR and AED - 2002
[CPR - 1] [CPR - 2] [CPR - 3]  [CPR - 4] 
Chief Kirton and Assist. Chief Heglund have been teaching new firefighters and the citizens of Charlton County
CPR and the use of a AED. A class is held at least once per month to help aid parents and shop owners the
proper way to perform CPR in case of an emergency.

Mod One - March 14, 2002

Firefighter Austin Kirton is teaching at the Mod One class held this year at Winokur Division. His subject was
Nozzles, Hoses and Adapters. Chief Kirton and father of Austin was very proud of his son and the job that
he did that night.

Mod One Hands On Training - March 23, 2002

A hands on training class was held for Mod One students at Folkston Divison. Each student learned the different
hose rolls, hydrant hook-ups, hose bed lays and inside search and rescue. Chief Lewis and Chief Kirton were the
instructors.

CSX Train De-Railment Class - June 12-14 2002

This training class was held in Savannah Georgia from CSX, called Operation Lifesaver. Its a class that
will teach you the information on the trains, box cars, tanks and other such information. It was a good
class and we learned a great deal. This will teach you what to do in case of a Train VS vehicle, de-railment
and other such important information.
