Hwy 252 - 2001

The accident happend on Hwy 252. The truck and a log truck passed
each other on a overpass, and the log truck while both of them
were in motion struck the truck. There were no injuries as every
one was wearing their seatbelts.
Semi vs Truck - February 25, 2002
[Semi - 1] [Semi - 2][Semi - 3] [Semi - 4]
This accident occured on Hwy 301. A utility truck ran a stop sign
and the semi-truck heading into town hit him on
the driver side door. The driver of the truck was removed with
injuries and flown to Jacksonville Florida by Life
Flight. The accident caused the semi-truck to spill its load of
process wood onto the highway. Firefighters spent 5 hours
clearing the road and restacking the wood back on to the trailer.
The driver of the utility truck came home 6 hours later
with minor brusies.
Hwy 40 - March 21, 2002
[Hwy 40] [Hwy 40 -2] [Hwy 40 -3] [Hwy 40 -4]
This accident occured
on Hwy 40 around 9:20 A.M. There were minor injuries to both
drivers.
Both trucks lost control on the wet road from the morning showers
and hit each other head on. Both drivers were
transported to CMH and
later released.
Main and Hwy 301 - April 10, 2002
[Hwy 1] [Hwy 2] [Hwy 3] [Hwy 4]
This tone came at 2:33 P.M. The truck and the car hit each other
in the middle of town. The accident caused the car
to run into the store front causing minor damage inside. Chief
Kirton and FF. Steven Towne used the Jaws to remove
the driver of the car. There were 4 passengers in the red car
with injuries, all were boarded and taken to CMH. The
Driver of the pick-up was fine.
