Okay, so, first I should probably explain the story of Pink Aprons!
One day, I was talking with Lizz Browne, and she brought up the fact that, in several MSW episodes, Seth wears a pink apron. It was hilarious, of course, to hear, but I had to do my research---so I proceeded to do JUST that! So it became our inside joke (and my AIM screen name).
For my birthday (2004) I received, from Lizz with the gracious help of her Mom, whom I call Mom-Jean, a pink apron, which Lizz had the good sense to embroider with the words, "Seth Rocks My Socks"!
I finally got around to taking screen captions from "Town Father" and I had Mum take a picture of ME in the pink apron, and I made them like a split screen. So, I sent it to William Windom to have him autograph it for me, because he's very kind.
Anyway, I got it back today (12-09-2004), and I am completely excited! He signed it with a "Liza Bapp--Here's my lap!--'Doc'--Will Windom". I believe he was rhyming, like the "Seth Rocks My Socks". Woo! That was grand. I'm going to explain my stupidity to you---I didn't understand it at first. I'm like, "Here's my lap?! What's THAT suppose to mean?!" But, I finally figured it out and had quite a chuckle. Meanwhile, I bought a new frame and it's already one of my favourite autographs.
Don't mind the lines in the picture, that's from the scanner ('cause my brother's scanner is gross--lol), and I also had to stretch it out a bit--to get the file the correct size.. |
