ABOUT US AND THE CHOPPER

Ove and I (Charlotte) used to live in California, but since we were both born and raised in Sweden, we decided to move back in the summer of 2002. While the chopper was built, we were still living in California, though. On this page and the three following ones, you can see how the chopper progressed from a frame to a completed chopper.

The frame is from Chopper Guys. It is a rigid frame with 6" front leg stretch and 3" stretch on the back bone. There is a 40 degree rake on the frame. The triple tree that will be used has an additional 7 degrees.

The frame had to be modified in order to fit the blueprints of the chopper. In this photo, Ove is welding a bracket for the passenger footpegs. By the way, the passenger is very grateful for the positioning of the footpegs.

The chainlink sissybar was welded together link by link, and it has over 800 welds. The lower part of the sissybar has been reinforced with steel bars. The seat was also custom made by Ove, since no seats are made for this bike.
