To My Daughters
Each of you is so precious to me,
You have brought so much joy to my life.
All of you are such wonderful daughters,
And I love each of you so much.
You each have a gift,
Whether you realize it yet or not,
Given to you by God,
Who has a purpose for each of your lives.
All of you have children of your own now,
You all do such a good job.
I hope that you will bring them up to love the Lord,
For that is what is most important.
I am so thankful to the Lord that I am your mother,
And for the grandchildren that you have given to me.
They are so special to me,
Each and every one.
I know that I have made mistakes,
But no one is perfect,
And I hope that I have instilled the values in you,
That will help you get through life.
Sometimes we don’t agree,
But please remember how much you mean to me,
And that all that I have ever wanted,
Was love and happiness for each of you.
I am so proud of all of you,
And I hope that each of you has peace and harmony.
Forgive one another for past hurts,
And love each other as I love each of you.
I hope that you will try to help others,
And treat others with love and respect,
And give to the world something
That your children can be proud of.
