Reflections of Pain
Reflections of pain, a pain that runs so deep,
So inside my heart the pain I must keep!
The pain is part of everything I do,
And is ever part of my thoughts too!
So many times has my heart been broken,
Will a true word to me ever be spoken?
Some days the pain is worse than others,
And on those days, I just want to stay under the covers!
There are so many times that my tears fall like rain,
Trying to ease some of the pain!
Every person that I lose to death, and everyone that walks away,
Adds to the pain, and the pain is part of every day!
But even though my heart is so full of pain,
I still believe that I will be loved again!
So I never give up hope for that day,
When all my pain will go away!
Even though I have all this pain inside my heart,
Still I try to help to keep others from falling apart!
For in helping others who have pain of their own,
Part of my pain is somehow gone and I feel less alone!
