My Son
You were my first born child, my only son,
A sweet and loving little boy,
Mischievous and playful,
Full of spirit and smiling all the time,
You have brought so much joy to our lives.
While growing up you often had it rough,
But you didn’t let that stop you,
You did the best that you could,
Surprising some people over the years,
With all that you have accomplished.
I am so proud of the person that you have become,
Loving and giving and strong,
And your courage is an inspiration to us all,
I wish happiness and the good things in life for you,
Always remember that I love you very much!
