Heroes
What a crazy, mixed-up world we live in,
When speaking of God is such a sin.
What is right is wrong, and what is wrong is right,
We seem to always be turning away from the Light.
Our children’s heroes are the superstars,
Sports figures and movie stars.
They look up to the singers of today,
Much as we did when we were their age.
Somehow we must put God back in our lives,
Or we are all going to pay a high price.
We need to stand up together for what is right,
Or our children’s children will never know the Light.
Help us, Lord, to put a stop to this lunacy,
Where we are not heard who are the majority.
Help us, Lord, to find a way to make our leaders listen,
So that our great Nation will once again glisten!
