| Welcome! If you are between the ages of 15-21, you can be an Explorer! Here is what you can expect to do as an Explorer: -assist the front office clerical staff in their daily operations -go out on full eight hour shift ride-a-longs with officers -compete in Explorer competitons against Explorers from other law enforcement agencies. Competitons are both mentally, and physically challenging -participate in community service events Minimum qualifications are: -be between the ages of 15-21 -maintain a 2.0, or a "C" average in school -be in good standing with your community -have no felony convictions For more information, contact your local CHP office, and ask to speak with an Explorer advisor.
