| What does the word church symbolize? To me it means so much as I wrestle with who I am in God A church is a place where I can sing and praise My God who has kept me all of my life. A church is a place of worship and thanksgiving For God's blessings while I'm dwelling in the land of the living A church is a people who care about each other And share each other's joys and pains. A church is a gathering of believers in A God who knows all, sees all and hears all My refuge! My storehouse! My hospital! My mental institution! My place to come before the Lord with all that I am and pour myself at His feet. The Church! My Church! A place where God can be honoured, glorified and worshipped A people who honour, glorify and worship their God. |
