My collage contains the people, things, and words that are most important to me. In the middle is a picture of me with my three closest friends Myung-Hee, Katie, and Ronli. That picture was taken right before Junior Prom. To the right of that is a picture of me with my Dad at a conference he was running at Princeton. There is a picture on the bottom left of my Mom and me at Brown Ledge Camp. It was taken this past summer right after I performed with the Drill Team and also right after I fell off that horse (fortunately not in front of two hundred people but behind the scenes).

There is a picture of my cello, which I took a few years ago, and behind that, barely visible, is a picture of a manhole cover in Rome with the initials SPQR on it. As a Latin scholar, I went to Rome a few years ago with my Mom and my sister, Hannah. That trip was definitely one of the best and Rome is one of my favorite cities.

Also in my collage is a picture of Hannah and me after her "Coming of Age" service in New Jersey and a picture of the Brown Ledge sign. Without my seven summers at Brown Ledge, I would not be the person I am today. A passionate kayaker, the wooden kayak in my collage represents my Vanguard and my dream to own a kayak someday.

Working on the yearbook and attending school board meetings consume enough of my time that I felt it was important to put those words on the collage, as well as the words "reading" and "writing," two of my favorite things to do. In the upper left-hand corner I put the names of the eight colleges to which I applied, in no particular order.

Lastly, I put the word "adventure" because that is how I see life – as one great adventure.
