The California Department of Highway Safety has determined
that too few people are paying attention to the proper wearing of
automobile seatbelts. Therefore, you are requested to pay attention to the
correct way seatbelts should be positioned, as shown in the photo.
It is deemed critical that all vehicle occupants should wear
their seatbelts in the appropriate manner when on the highway.
Highway Patrol officers are being encouraged to stop and inspect vehicles for compliance.
