I can remember when Charles and Were Born. They were born in Johnston memoral Hospital,on March 25 ,1972 And And their Doctor was Doctor Glover of Abingdon Virginia.their Mom was Helen Mae Keith (Collins) And me their Dad Charles Bascomb Keith. We were expecting only one child and we were going to name the baby after me if it was a boy.ANd when we found out it was twins we Named them both after me Charles And CHuck Which means (Charles) Helen had a hard delivery it was many hours she was young and little and she had them after many hours of suffering.And it was so hard her heart stopped while having them
And the doctor come out and said what did you want a boy or girl.I said it doesnt matter he said how about 2 boys .I sank to the floor. Their Grand dad was Dewey Edward Collins and Allen Marl Keith in whis both carry their Name in the middle Charlie (Dewey) Chuck(Allen) their Grand Mothers were Lillian Collins (Blevins) FLora Keith (Tuggle) I remember taking them home from the hospital i had one under each arm.And Helen and my lif echanged forever.Every where we went the boys drawed much attention. The were so Active you could not keep up with them as they grew up. I rember so funny times tho they were very many but only have space for a few.Once Heln and i got missing them and we went hunting for them when they were very small,and found them in the middle of the river and i ask them what are you doing and they said we are fimming daddy.I remember one time they were on raril road tiestle I spanked them all the way home.Every time i would spank them they would jump.I rember one time when they were very little in their play pen in a house where Mcdonalds is now.Charles And Chuck were in their play pens and we went to the kitchen and come back and they had their diapers off eating their on po. they had it all over them.I can alway remember what one did the other did also,One got hurt or sick so did the other. One broke his collar bone so did the other.Both had their tonsil out together.They had many friends.Catron Shazer was one of their best friends. And they would some time fight each other but if someone else jumped on one of them they would have to fight the other also. i can remember as it was yesterday,many thing they would do as little boys. They always loved fishing, and they did many different things together and Charles ANd chuck were as one always. There was a bond between them that most brothers never have.i remember when they wer ein 8th grade one of them was better than the other on math.And i went to parent and teachers conference their math teacher tol dme Mr.Keith Charles and Chuck dont think i know but one was better than the other on math and the other took the exam for the other. They were good boys growing up.And we took them to church all the time.we would go to lake side amusement park all the time in salem,Va..we had the greatest times even getting out walking. Later on Helen And I had a daughter we Named Rachel Dawn and when she was born the boys loved her,they protected her.they were much older than Rachel about 8 year are so. And Rachel was born which the doctors said we would never have anymore children,Rachel was borned in Smyth county Hospital her doctor was doctor walker, and she was a beautiful baby as the boys were. And she was very active also.Helen and I divorced when charlie and chuck were 12 and Rachel about 5,Our life changed very much.Helen and i were stil very young and we had a hard divorce,Helen wa smy first love and i couldnt hardly let her go.But life went on tho.I raised the boys and Helen did Rachel. After while Helen married Gerald Widner,ANd i also married again Rhonda Teaster. Gerald had 4 other kids and Rhonda had two also.Jessican and jennifer,And Geralds kids we burt ,jennifer, and to others i cant remember now.But thing wen on and Helen wa s married to gerald and me also to Rhonda,Rhonda and i got out and went every where with the kids we went to carowinds 9 times.and Rhonda and i were married 12 years and we had a house full in this little house.Helen and i were married 15 years and Rhonda and i were married 12.Charles and chuck would sneak out the up stairs window and would have sneak doug in the upstairs window. they had boys staying all night about every night.Charles and Chuck loved skating,and so dod Rachel.Charles and Chuck always loved Duke of Hazards they wer both into cars mopars.Rachel and the boys love one another but there was a big age differance that they drew apart some.Later Rhonda and i had Angela and the boys caried her and diapered her and love her and so did Rachel.There is so many thing i could tell i wouldnt have parer enough but the memories will be with me for ever we all had our good times and our bad times and hard times but i never quit loving any of my kids,I love them alway unconditional.Well I will continue on another Page. |
